“Southwest choosing Port Columbus to receive service via one of the airline’s limited DCA slots is a big compliment to our community and our airport, and also recognizes the overall growth our region is experiencing,” said Elaine Roberts, President & CEO of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority.

Representatives from Port Columbus reported that 400 passengers currently travel daily each way between Columbus and the Washington DC region, indicating that it is an important market for businesses and organizations in the area.

The flights will begin on April 8th, 2015, departing Columbus at 12:10pm and arriving in DC at 1:25pm. The daily return flight departs DC at 4:15pm and arrives in Columbus at 5:35pm.
