Welcome — to the new Gateway.

After 10 years of life as the South Campus Gateway, the multi-purpose development that anchors High Street between Ninth and Eleventh Avenues near the Ohio State University is undergoing a brand transformation to become known more simply as “Gateway”.

The new brand has already been deployed to social media, but an official brand launch with more details is slated to occur sometime in the next month.

“In listening to our customers, very few were referring to the development by its formal name of South Campus Gateway,” explained Amanda Hoffsis, President of Campus Partners, the developer of the Gateway. “As a result, we’re in the process of pivoting our branding more towards the colloquial  ‘Gateway.’ We’re excited to share the results in the next few weeks.”

The rebrand comes at a good time for the area, as it is currently undergoing a major expansion project to the south. Edwards Communities is developing the seven-acre expansion that will add 390 new apartment units, 23,000 square feet of retail space, and a new parking deck.

Additional news at the Gateway includes the closure of Eddie George’s Grille 27 last weekend, and the upcoming opening of Raising Cane’s on February 1st.
