Si Señor Opening Second Location This Saturday

Almost a year later than expected, Si Señor’s Fifth by Northwest location opens this Saturday. After a January 2016 announcement with a projected Spring 2016 opening date, their grand opening follows delays due to permits, plumber trouble and construction.

“When you transform a bakery into a restaurant you have to start from the beginning,” said co-owner Guillermo Perez.

The old The French Loaf space at 1456 W. Fifth Ave. now resembles the Downtown Si Señor with some minor differences. It has a bigger kitchen and smaller dining room, taking up 1,650 square feet that will accommodate around 40 guests compared to their 70-person capacity Downtown.

After considering some menu changes, they’ll be putting them off until their new Grandview clientele acquaints itself with the restaurant. For now it’ll be the same Si Señor with extended hours. Anticipating a constant crowd throughout the day, their Fifth by Northwest location will be open Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
