Photos sent to Columbus Underground show much of the interior seating has been removed from the restaurant. Multiple websites also list the address for lease.

After offering carryout for the first week of the dine-in shutdown, Philco has been closed for the duration of the coronavirus pandemic. The restaurant also had a months-long closure in 2019 to make some updates to their space.

Philco opened its doors in Short North in June 2013. After five successful years, Owners Tina and Randy Corbin announced they would be expanding the Philco concept to German Village in 2018, however those plans never came to fruition.

A request for comment on the reason for the closure has not been answered at the time of publishing.
