Urban Home & Garden is an eclectic retailer that sells exactly what the name implies – home good and garden supplies. Their ever-changing collection of plants, gardening tools, small home goods and décor has made them a staple in the Easton Gateway area.

Owners Tom Paghi and Edward Lambert are no strangers to the industry. Their Cleveland location of Urban Home & Garden has been in operation for more than 20 years. Three years ago, they opened an Easton location outside of the mall, and just over a year ago they moved to their current Easton Gateway location.

Several times a year, Paghi and Lambert travel to trade shows and buy small quantities of select items. The limited quantity allows for their stock to be constantly changing, creating a unique shopping experience every time a customer visits the store. Their seasonal items also change year to year, so no two holidays are the same. At Christmas time, the entire store is transformed into a winter wonderland with more than 30 trees on display.

In the home section, a wide variety of items are available. Serving platters, seasonally scented soaps, throw pillows, and wall signs are among the selection. Their most popular is their etched wine glasses, with zip codes and Ohio decorating the glasses.

In the garden section is a variety of succulents, annuals, and perennials, which line the sidewalk outside as well as a huge part of the inside. Planters, small tools, fertilizer, and lawn furniture accompany the plants. They also carry unique plants, such as pineapple, lemon, and lime trees, that are difficult to find in Central Ohio. Both Paghi and Lambert are knowledgeable about the plants they carry and are ready to help customers care for them.

On the weekends, Urban Home & Garden hosts local pop up shops as well. Vendors set up a booth inside of their space to display and sell their items.

Urban Home and Garden is located at 4173 Worth Ave. in Easton Gateway. More information can be found on their Facebook page.
