Shinola, a high-end manufacturer, opened a Columbus retail location earlier this year. Located at 3976 Easton Station, the store offers watches, leather bags, bicycles, jewelry, and audio products. The company is based in Detroit, MI, where their products are manufactured.
The manufacturing plant opened in Detroit in 2012, selling their original watch The Runwell online in March 2013. The watches sold out within eight days of being released. In June 2013, the Shinola Detroit Flagship retail store opened. Over the past four years, Shinola has opened 20 retail stores in major cities around the county, as well as two internationally. Their products are also available in over 300 different retailers, both domestically and globally.
Hand crafting and advanced technology combine in the Shinola watch factory to produce an average of 700 watches daily. Shinola also has an in-house leather factory, which not only produces the majority of their watch straps, but also small leather goods and bags. Their Fine Jewelry collection, designed by Pamela Love, is hand crafted in Los Angeles and New York.
Shinola at Easton carries a wide selection of products. Watches and bags for both men and women are available, as well as a selection of audio products and jewelry. Shinola has a custom option, too, where watches can be hand selected by the customers at the Willard Watch Bar. Customers can choose a strap and face to create their custom watch.
