Popular burger joint Shake Shack is headed to Columbus, taking up residence at Easton Town Center by early 2019.
According to a press release, the new Shack will occupy roughly 3,500 square feet of space (enough room for more than 100 customers) and offer an outdoor patio. From their rendering, the new Shack looks to be replacing the Tesla store located at 4005 The Strand West, which opened in 2013.
All the Shake Shack signature items will be on the menu, including the ShackBurger, crinkle-cut fries, and hand-spun shakes. Guests can also find flat-top hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, and frozen custard — all without added hormones or antibiotics — and a selection of craft beer and wine.
Shake Shack first opened in 2004 in Madison Square Park, New York. Since then, it’s grown in popularity on the east coast and in the Midwest, appearing in Chicago, Detroit, and Lexington. It’s also established more than 50 global locations.
Another Ohio location is coming soon to the northeastern town of Pinecrest, according the Shake Shack website.
