    Seeking Nominations for Columbus Arch Award 2012

    The City of Columbus will be turning 200 years old on Tuesday, February 14th, and once again we’ll be celebrating the occasion by announcing the annual Arch Award at the Columbus Historical Society’s birthday celebration. This award recognizes an “up and coming” local person who is making modern day history in the city through their actions and contributions. Previous winners include Michael Wilkos and Steve Fireman.

    Once again, we’re calling upon our readers to help pick the finalists for this award. If you have a nomination for us, please submit the person’s name and contact information to [email protected]. The cutoff time for submissions is Friday, January 27th at Noon.

    The winner will be announced and award will be presented on Tuesday, February 14th at the Columbus Birthday Celebration taking place at the new CHS space at COSI. More details about the event can be found HERE.
