Sbarro, the restaurant known for their pizza by the slice, has opened two new Columbus locations.
The company, which rebranded after moving their headquarters to Columbus from Melville, NY in 2014, now offers sit-down service alongside a new menu. The brand expansion will be implemented nationally and internationally.
The Dublin location, located on 6485 Perimeter Drive, opened on Tuesday. The Worthington location at 2163 W. Dublin-Granville Road opened earlier today. Additional stores are set to open on OSU’s campus and in Clintonville later this year. The restaurant seats 20, and offers take-out and delivery. Sbarro also began test marketing their fast-casual Pizza Cucinova concept in Columbus in early 2014, with locations near Easton and on Olentangy River Road.
“We’ve gone back to our roots with laser focus on what we are famous for – XL New York style pizza made fresh daily with high-quality ingredients,” said Sbarro Chief Marketing Officer Anne Pritz. “This focus clearly defines our path for product innovation and delivers the menu our guests are looking for from our brand today.”
