This spring, a new tenant will be moving into the Marconi Square building.

Sandman Gourmet, a full-service deli and catering company, will be opening at 111 W. Nationwide Boulevard, in the former space of the short-lived Sonoma Grille. Located at the corner of Nationwide and Ludlow Street, the concept will include a walk-up window and patio seating.

Sandman Gourmet boasts additional locations in Westerville, Worthington and Downtown. Breakfast selections at other Sandman locations include burritos, sandwiches, bagels, and pastries. Lunch offerings include custom and build-your-own sandwiches, salads, and rice bowls. Crimson Cup Coffee will be served, along with tea, soda, and other drinks.

“When we opened our first Sandman location, our goal was to become one of Columbus’ successful quick service restaurants,” said Sandman owners Rich and Dawn Rores. “Thirteen years later, we’re proud to continue our tradition of fresh, quick, delicious food in a clean, fun atmosphere.”

Sandman will be open for breakfast and lunch, hours to be determined. Patio dinner service will be available only on certain nights, depending on events happening at Nationwide, Express Live!, and other nearby entertainment venues.

The restaurant is currently slated for an early May opening.
