Sandella’s Flatbread Café, a Connecticut-based casual restaurant chain, is scheduled to make their Columbus debut by the end of the year. Franchisees Chris Kavalieros and Michael Czarnecki have announced plans to open three stores in the region. The locations have not yet been finalized, but areas under consideration include Easton, OSU, and the North Side of Columbus.
“We want to bring Sandella’s to Columbus because it’s not just health conscious food, it’s healthy and delicious,” says Kavalieros. “People today are more health conscious than ever before and Sandella’s is the perfect place for people who want a delicious and fast meal without sacrificing their health or their wallet in the process.”
According to Sandella’s website, they are the largest flatbread concept in the world. They were founded in 1994 in West Redding, Connecticut and have grown to over 150 locations with 400 new stores in the pipeline.
As their name implies, their health-conscious menu revolves around the use of their signature flatbread, which is offered in the form of wraps, pizzas, quesadillas and paninis. They also offer a variety of soups and salads.
Since the locations have not been finalized yet, are there any particular areas or neighborhoods that you’d like to see Sandella’s set up in?
