It’s been almost exactly one year since a fire broke out in the basement of 11 East Gay Street, damaging the building and displacing the retail businesses within. The Robert Mason Co. was one of those businesses, and while they’ve continued to maintain an e-commerce store, they’ve not yet reopened in a new location. That may change soon, according to an article on TheMetropreneur.com today.

The article shares that the new location will likely land in either Downtown Columbus or The Short North, but specifics aren’t being revealed on locations at this point in time.

“We do know that the retail floor will be around 2,000 square feet,” Robert Mason Co. founder Robert Grimmet told The Metropreneur. The original store on Gay street was a long-term pop-up roughly 1/10th that size.
