From The Dispatch:
RiverSouth renaissance under way
By Mike PramikColumbus City Center’s demolition is expected to provide a shot in the arm for RiverSouth, but the improvements in the Downtown district already are well under way. Just a couple blocks west of the ill-fated mall, construction is progressing on a city parking garage, and a residential project is on schedule to open in the summer.
Meanwhile, plans are beginning to jell for an underused set of buildings along S. High Street south of the newly redesigned Town Street. Worley said Capitol South plans some type of residential use for two of the buildings, at 203 S. High St. and 221 S. High St., which it bought in the past two years.
At the northern end of the block, two buildings owned by a group that includes developer Larry Rubin and retailer Jay Schottenstein also should attract more interest once City Center comes down.
