The project includes 230 multifamily units, a 300-space public parking garage and approximately 30,000 square feet of retail space.

Gracing the exterior of the project are 18 public murals created by local artists, including a mural designed by students at Cristo Rey Columbus High School, commissioned with the help of the Franklinton Arts District. In addition, three large murals located to the rear of River & Rich were created by local artists Steve Ehret, Jonathan Ryan, and Eric Rausch with Jennifer Kiko, and 13 murals purchased at the Art for Franklinton Urban Scrawl art auction can be found inside.

“Our vision for River & Rich was to be a vibrant, art-focused project. We understand the vital role the arts and artists play in the fabric of the Franklinton neighborhood and wanted to be sure our project would complement and enhance the neighborhood’s creative spirit,” said Brent Sobczak, president of CASTO Communities, in a press release.

River & Rich is also a part of the 2019 Columbus Underground Urban Living Tour, taking place Sunday, May 5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Found in River & Rich’s lobby: a 5 foot by 10 foot high-top table handcrafted by local artist Chris Sherman.
The 8 foot by 5 foot pool entrance mural created by artist Jonathan Ryan.
The a 24-foot tall, LED lit River & Rich sign was designed and custom-built by Andrew Lundberg, owner of Lundberg Industrial Arts.
