Offering objects and art for the home, new retail store Additions opened in the old What the Rock?! space last week. Just steps away from its sister store Steven Cox Flowers, Additions will take the floral shop’s commercially sourced art and give it its own space at 1194 N. High St.

Owners Steven Cox and Kerry Thompson describe the new store as a destination for design professionals and customers alike. Along with their inventory they’ll offer services for corporate and retail art delivery, placement and installation.

“We are really trying to present a beautiful array of unique items that you just don’t see anywhere else,” they said in a press release. “The large format art pieces I think will appeal to someone looking for a gorgeous or interesting large art for their home or office but don’t necessarily need or want to spend the big money on original art that scale. Decorative in the best sense of the word.”

Additions opened for Gallery Hop on May 6, and their open hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday through Friday.
