Restaurants Open Thanksgiving Day in Columbus

Thanksgiving is a time for family. Unless you’re either not planning to travel, or don’t really feel like hanging out with your family. If either of those things are the case, and you’re more interested in heading out to a restaurant or bar with some friends, then we’ve got a roundup of your options, below. Happy Thanksgiving!
Tip Top Kitchen and Cocktails
Downtown – 73 East Gay Street – www.tiptopcolumbus.com
Open for dinner from 5pm – 10pm
Tip Top will be serving everything from their regular dinner menu plus a turkey special — deep fried turkey with stuffing, potatoes, green bean casserole and cranberry relish. Plus their bar will be open until at least 10pm, and even longer if there’s a crowd.
5xNW – 1453 Grandview Avenue – www.halwanicuisine.com
Open for lunch from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm and dinner from 5pm – 10pm
Halwani will be serving up their normal full menu on Thanksgiving Day, giving you an option for traditional and international pizzas. (Tip: be sure to try out the Chicken Tandoori Pizza.)
Smith & Wollensky

Open for lunch from Noon to 4pm and dinner from 4pm to 8pm
Newly renovated Easton Steakhouse Smith & Wollensky is serving up a traditional-style prix-fixe Thanksgiving Menu for lunch and dinner, in addition to their standard menus.

Open for late lunch from 1pm to 5pm
Classic Grandview eatery Spagio will be hosting a special four-hour late-lunch featuring a special Thanksgiving menu that includes pumpkin bisque, maple glazed turkey breast, a roasted vegetable stack and more.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 9am to 9pm
Newly relocated Downtown bistro deNOVO will be open early on Thanksgiving for breakfast from 9am to Noon, with a special Thanksgiving Menu to follow for lunch and dinner. That includes corn and potato chowder, turkey roulade with apple and cranberry stuffing, brown sugar creme brule and more.

Open for breakfast and lunch from 7am to 1pm
Columbus icon Block’s Bagels will be open early on Thanksgiving Day for your breakfast and lunch needs. And if the Far East Side is too far, you only need to wait two more months for their new Bexley location to open.
Caribbean Jerks Island Bar & Grill

Polaris-area eater Caribbean Jerks will be featuring a special non-Caribbean Turkey dinner that features “all the trimmings” for dinner on Thanksgiving night.

Open for lunch and dinner from Noon to 7pm
Brazillian steakhouse Rodizio Grill will feature their regular menu on Thanksgiving day, in addition to adding some Thanksgiving favorites into the mix. The all-you-can-eat menu is $34.99 per person.
Oddfellows Liquor Bar

Open for dinner from 7pm to 11pm
Short North bar Oddfellows will be featuring a special Turkey Dinner on Thursday night, featuring smoked turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, yams, green beans, gravy and cranberry sauce.
The Point Bar & Grill

Open for dinner from 5pm to Midnight
Why just eat when you can also bowl? Star Lanes Polaris will be open from 5pm to Midnight, and their Point Bar & Grill within will be serving up their standard menu the whole time.

Open for desserts from 11am to 3pm
Clintonville bakery Pattycake will be open for four hours on Thursday, allowing customer to drop in to pick up pies! The selection includes apple, pumpkin and sweet potato pies, all made from locally-grown items.
Ray Ray’s Hog Pit

Open for lunch from Noon to 4pm
If you’re looking for slow cooked meats on Thanksgiving, then Ray Ray’s has your back. They’ll be cooking up smoked turkey, brown sugar glazed ham and barbeque spare ribs, and serving up sides of mashed potatoes, green beans and buttered corn. It’s best to place your order in advance to go!
The Guild House

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, beginning at 6:30am.
Last but not least, The Guild House will be open all day, featuring a $49 prix-fixe lunch and dinner menu starting at 4pm, in addition to their regular menu. The prix fixe menu includes butternut squash soup, turkey roulade and pecan pie.
