Restaurants Open on Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving is here — yep, already. Typically spent slaving over an oven, coordinating distant family members’ visits, and, ultimately, cleaning up a mess of dishes, maybe try something new for Thanksgiving this year. Below is a list of restaurants in Columbus that’ll do all the hard work for you.

Serving a special menu from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Bob Evans will serve a holiday menu on Thanksgiving Day. Guests can choose between a slow roasted turkey and dressing, hickory-smoked ham, or country-fried steak with a choice of three sides, endless bread, and a piece of pie. Kids’ meals come with turkey, two sides, endless bread and pumpkin pie.

Open for dinner from 12 to 4:30 p.m.
Copious is offering a three-course menu for $30. Guests can choose one of four starters, which include their baked brie, fried Brussels sprouts, potato soup, and seasonal fruit salad; and one of four mains, such as their turkey, seared scallops, fall risotto, and gnocchi & short rib ragout. To finish off the meal, their autumn pear and cheesecake desserts are available.
The Guild House

Open for lunch, running from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and dinner, beginning at 4 p.m.
A prix fixe menu will be served at The Guild House for lunch and dinner. It features a four-course meal for $49 and it includes wine pairings for an additional $30. Starting with their butternut squash soup followed by a green salad, the meal’s main event is their turkey with glazed heirloom carrots, potatoes, house-made stuffing, green bean casserole, roasted turkey gravy, and cranberry relish. It’s finished off with a warm bread pudding with ginger snap crumble and Johnson’s cinnamon ice cream.

The Point at Star Lanes Polaris

The Point at Star Lanes Polaris offers their regular dinner menu to those out and about on Thanksgiving Day. Their menu features a variety of fried starters, soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches, pizzas and wings.
Valter’s at the Maennerchor

Open for lunch and dinner, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Along with their regular menu, Valter’s at the Maennerchor will be offering a special Thanksgiving dinner as the special. Reservations are recommended.
