Columbus always has many new restaurants, expansions, menu updates and other changes, it’s sometimes hard to keep up with everything. That’s why our Restaurant Roundup series was designed to keep you informed with the latest and greatest updates. Here’s what’s new in the local dining scene:

Just in time for spring, Land-Grant Brewing Company is about to release a new IPA, Quadrahopic. The latest brew, which features “flavors and aromas from Cascade, Citra, Comet and Centennial hops,” will be available on Thursday, March 15.

Described as a smooth and tropical-tasting beer, Quadrahopic IPA is meant to be “a new perspective on the IPA.” Its name, a play on the photography term “quadrascopic,” is carried through in the can’s design, which features four spirographs, “one for each lens in a 3-D camera.”

Elevator Brewing Co

Turning back time to pre-prohibition, Elevator Brewing Co. has announced a new addition to their line-up of brews. Uptown Pilsner is a style of beer first discovered by German immigrants attempting to duplicate their favorite brew by using familiar ingredients from back home in Germany. It’ll be available on tap and in six-packs.

The release party will be on Saturday, March 21 at the production brewery and 13th Floor Taproom, located at 165 N. Fourth St. Festivities will start at noon, and the company will also release Gravity 3.0, a German-style Doppelbock. Also available during the party will be Brett’s Brown and a Mocha Plum Stout on tap and food from Schmidt’s Sausage Haus and Restaurant.

RAM Restaurant & Brewery

The RAM Restaurant & Brewery has become the latest restaurant to list The Impossible Burger on its menu. The “burger,” made from wheat, potato proteins, coconut oil and heme (natural molecule that gives off a meaty flavor), has appeared in other Columbus spots, including Bareburger and Acre.

RAM serves theirs on a grilled bun and tops it with LTO and their RAM burger sauce.
