New Menus

Ethyl & Tank

Ethyl & Tank, the newest café/bar/arcade on the campus of The Ohio State University, has recently launched a new menu. Diners will now be able to enjoy items like the Columbus Club, Waldorf Salad, and Falafel. There are also new dessert offerings, like Churros and Belgian Waffles. North High Brewing

Local brewery, North High Brewing, is now serving Brezel pretzels at their taproom. Brezel, who has a popular shop in the North Market, was recently named The Best Pretzel in Ohio. It’s rumored their pretzels go very well with North High Brewing’s summer beers. To see if the rumor is true, stop by soon. North High Brewing is located at 1288 North High Street. Houlihan’s Restaurant & Bar

The Upper Arlington branch of Houlihan’s Restaurant, located at 3150 Tremont Road, has launched a new menu featuring the exclusive use of organic greens in all their dishes. This includes iceberg and romaine lettuces, kale, spinach, arugula, and chard. Columbus is a testing ground for this new venture, which, if successful, will be applied at Houlihan’s other locations nationwide. For a look at their menu, check out www.houlihans.com.

New Hours

Basi Italia

Basi Italia, the Victorian Village hideaway located at 811 Highland Street, is now serving lunch. The service began last weekend, and will continue on Fridays and Saturdays when they open at 11:30am. Lunch menu items include Shrimp Frittata, Grilled Lamb Burger, and the ever popular, Zucchini Pronto. All items on the lunch menu cost between $5-$13. Hot Chicken Takeover

It began as a pop up at the Near East Co-Operative, 1117 Oak Street in Olde Towne East. Soon, the Hot Chicken Takeover spread to Saturdays, and now they’ve extended their hours. Every Saturday and Sunday, from noon-5pm, finger lickers all across the city can come get their favorite hot chicken, mac and cheese, and sweet tea from Joe DeLoss and his team. Hot Chicken Takeover now also offers whole chickens, as well as the option for extra hot hot chicken, so plan your weekend around getting some spicy grub. Freshbox Café

Downtown Columbus has a new lunch option: Freshbox Café. Located in the lower level of the Trinity Episcopal Church, 125 East Broad Street, Freshbox Café serves lunch Monday-Friday, 11am – 2pm. Mozart’s Bakery & Piano Café
