    Tutto Vino Wine Cellar & Bistro

    Do you have a refined beer palate? Test your skills on Saturday, February 22nd when Tutto Vino, located at 7178 Muirfield Drive, hosts a Blind Beer Tasting. Each participant will receive a sheet describing 15 different beers, but will only be served 11. Tasters then match what they sample with the correct entry on the sheet to win. Those who get at least 8 correct out of the 11 will win a $15 gift certificate towards a future purchase. The tasting will run from 5:30pm – 8pm.     Matt the Miller’s Tavern

    Matt the Miller’s Tavern Grandview, located at 1400 Grandview Avenue, will host a beer pairing dinner on Monday, February 24th featuring the brews of New Holland Brewing. The 4-course dinner, which is part of a larger series of Beer Dinners held there, will be prepared by Matt the Miller’s Executive Chef. There are a very limited number of seats available for the event, which runs from 6pm – 8pm, so to save your spot, call 614.754.1026.

    Hubbard Grille

    On Tuesday, February 25th, Hubbard Grille, located at 793 North High Street, will host a 5-course dinner featuring Barley’s Brewing Company’s brews. The first beer featured, the Blood Thirst Wheat, will be paired with Chef’s Choice of Amuse Bouche. Barley’s Pale Ale will accompany the first course, Salmon Rillete, and the Auld Curiosity, the second – Braised Oxtail Risotto. The main course, Maple Leaf Farm’s Duck, will be paired with Barley’s Rye IPA, and for dessert, the Infinity Grand Cru will be served with Steeped Date Upside Down Cake. The dinner costs $50 per person, and also comes with a Barley’s Growler and $10 certificate towards filling it with either Barley’s Pilsner or MacLenny’s Scottish Ale.     Bolsanada

    Bolsanada is best known for their globally-inspired empanadas, but on March 6th and 7th, Chef Mike Gadd will host a pop-up restaurant in conjunction with The Hills Market Downtown and The Small Business Beanstalk. The event will be held at The Hills Market, 95 North Grant Avenue, from 7pm – 9pm. Tickets cost $65, and will buy a 5-course dinner and beer pairings from 5 different local breweries. The menu will feature Root Veg Salad, Cured and Smoked Pork Belly Sashimi, Local Tempura Fried Blue Prawns, Chocolate-Espresso Dusted Local Grass Fed Ribeye and Orange-Lavender Mousse.     101 Beer Kitchen

    101 Beer Kitchen, located at 7509 Sawmill Road, is teaming up with Cincinnati’s Rivertown Brewing for a 5-course beer pairing dinner. The event will be held on March 11th, and Executive Chef Mike Frame and his team will serve 60 guests for the evening, which begins at 6:30pm. Brewmaster Jason Roeper will be on hand to discuss the brewery’s history and answer questions about the beers available that evening. Tickets are $65 and includes dinner, beer, tax and gratuity.
