Those who are looking to vote in the primary election on May 8, 2018 have until the end of Monday, April 9 to register to vote. Those registering must be a U.S. citizen, an Ohio citizen for at least 30 days before the election, and at least 18 years old on or before May 8.

Registration can happen one of several ways. The Franklin County Board of Elections, located at 1700 Morse Road, is open until 9 p.m. for voters to register in person or deliver completed registration forms. There’s also myohiovote.com, which allows voters to update an existing registration or register for the first time with a valid Ohio driver’s license. If postmarked by April 9, mailed registration forms will also be accepted. Forms are available at vote.franklincountyohio.gov.
