Regional Craft Conference Takes Place in Columbus
Over one hundred handmade business owners will be gathering in Columbus for the Midwest Craft Caucus taking place next month. This grassroots event was designed to foster the growth and sustainability of crafting businesses, and will help those business owners with strategies on business foundation, identifying target audiences, and online business development.
Scheduled for June 4th and 5th, the conference will take place at the Economic and Community Development Institute (ECDI) and will feature over 25 panels, speakers and presentations on a wide variety of specific topics.
Some of the speakers include Lish Dorset of Craft Magazine and Handmade Detroit, Chris Gardner of ReadyMade magazine and Man Made DIY, and Grace Dobush, author of Crafty Superstar and Danielle Maveal, Seller Education Coordinator at Etsy.com.
The Midwest Craft Caucus is open to any type of DIY and crafting business owners. Tickets are $50 for a one-day pass and $75 for a two-day pass.
