Red Giraffe Designs Opening Fourth Location at Easton

Easton Town Center is getting some more local flair. Jewelry boutique Red Giraffe Designs will open its fourth area location inside the Station Building later this year.

It will be the second new location for the jewelry shop within the year following the spring opening of a Red Giraffe and Three Buds Flower Market joint venture in German Village. Red Giraffe also has shops in Short North and Grandview.

Founder and Lead Designer Kate Stevens says the Easton store will be similar to the other three locations, including the customization bar where customers can get hand-stamped necklaces, bracelets and rings made while they shop.

“We’re really hoping to make the customization bar a focal point of the shop because Easton doesn’t currently have anything like this,” Stevens says.

Red Giraffe is working with a designer for the first time on the layout for the 550 square foot space which was created as a part of the interior remodel of the mall. The boutique will set up shop on the southwest side of the staircase near The Buckle.

“The space could not be more perfect for us between the size and the location,” Stevens says.

Red Giraffe is aiming for a late summer or early fall opening. They also plan to add 10 new employees, primarily to work at the Easton location.

The local jewelry store joins eight other retailers who also announced new locations at Easton.
