The jewelry shop announced on social media it would not be renewing the lease for its German Village location, 1147 Jaeger St.

The German Village shop opened its doors in April 2018 in partnership with Three Buds Flower Market, another concept from Founder Kate Stevens.

“We had some fun ideas for this space, but then Covid happened,” the post announcing the closure said. “So after a lot of thought we decided it’s best to say goodbye for now. We’ve really loved being in German Village and the community there. Hopefully we’ll be back one day.⁣”

Red Giraffe will continue to operate its three additional retail shops: 847 N. High St. in the Short North, 1419 Grandview Ave. in Grandview and in the Easton Station Building.

The German Village shop will be open for one last weekend. Hours are 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Saturday and 12 – 6 p.m. on Sunday.
