Ray Ray’s Hog Pit Partners with Land-Grant for Third Location
Not even four months after opening their walk-up window in Westerville, Ray Ray’s Hog Pit will celebrate another opening. The barbecue restaurant will become Land-Grant’s designated food truck, serving from their brewing facility and taproom in East Franklinton starting next weekend.
“I’m really excited to cook and serve my food down in Franklinton, right beside the best craft beer,” said James Anderson, Ray Ray’s owner, in a press release. “I love being part of the growth in such a cool part of town, and I feel at home here.”
It’ll be the third location for Ray Ray’s Hog Pit, which also operates a food truck in Clintonville, outside Ace of Cups. Starting next Saturday, November 11, Land-Grant will open at 11:30 a.m., allowing Ray Ray’s to serve up barbecue for both lunch and dinner. It’s a full partnership, so any carry-out orders will be accommodated, and any private parties or events can be catered by Ray Ray’s.
“I have been a fan of Ray Ray’s since the food truck first pulled up in Clintonville,” said Adam Benner, Land-Grant President, in the release, “so, adding a hog pit to our taproom is pretty surreal and we feel very, very honored. I’ve always said that barbecue is my favorite food group, and strongly believe Land-Grant will be a great home for Ray Ray’s.”
Along with Ray Ray’s staples like smoked ribs, jerk chicken, beef brisket and pulled pork, additional specials will be available that are exclusive to their Land-Grant location. The menu in all includes ribs, sandwiches and traditional barbecue sides like collared greens, cole slaw, waffles fries and baked beans.
As part of the grand opening celebration, Land-Grant and Ray Ray’s are hosting an all-day party running from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. After that, Ray Ray’s will be available at Land-Grant every Thursday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
