After fifteen years at The North Market, chocolate-maker Pure Imagination is calling it quits. Fans will have several days to get their final chocolate fix, as the vendor stall will remain open through Saturday, February 14th — Valentine’s Day.
“Pure Imagination has been a very good partner to the North Market,” said North Market Executive Director Rick Harrison Wolfe. “We have been proud to have them as a part of the Merchant community.”
Wolfe stated that Pure Imagination owner Daniel Cooper will be focusing his efforts on his Grandview Avenue location, which opened in 2012. Cooper did not yet respond to a request for comment.
After the chocolates are cleared out, the space is not expected to sit empty for long.
“We have approved a business plan for a new award winning/best in class start up business, which we anticipate an April launch,” said Wolfe. “This will be their first permanent location, but the lease is not signed yet so I cannot share specifics.”
