Amenities listed on the project’s new website include a 24-hour fitness and yoga center, a rooftop patio, and a common area in the building’s restored two-story bank hall. Also touted are perks like “special invites to preview Columbus’ finest art and cultural events,” and “preferred seating at Columbus’ best sporting and entertainment venues.”

Prices for the apartments range from $1,120 for a studio to just over $3,000 for a three-bedroom unit on the ninth floor.

Kim Ulle of Edwards said that the plan is finish up interior work on the building in early 2017, but no exact timeline has been released in terms of the first residents moving in or new businesses opening up. Representatives from Veritas Tavern in Delaware have confirmed plans to relocate the restaurant to the Citizens Building, but no further details have yet been made available.

Across Gay Street from the Citizens Building, the foundation has been dug for Edwards’ six-story mixed-use development that will stretch north to Long Street. In addition to that project, work continues on the developer’s Neighborhood Launch project, with the Neilston apartment building and the Sixth Street Mews both nearing completion. Edwards Companies also recently purchased the PNC Building at 155 East Broad Street.
