The bill is full, the beer and whiskey will be a-flowin, and weird times are sure to be had this Saturday at Kobo. The show, hosted by The Lost Revival (also performing), features Columbus bands that have been around the block a few times. Blues on Red, The Up All Nights, Japanese B-Sides, and The George Elliot Underground will provide the soundtrack to what will be a night to remember (or not).
When asked what to expect from the show tomorrow, drummer Brian Dangerous from The George Elliot Underground promises that “one of your personalities will be seduced by the delusions of grandeur, the leather jackets and the larger than life attitudes.”
The show starts around 8, and I’d definitely get there early as this group of people is known to drink Kobo out of their stock of Jameson.
Sammy Dodge, lead singer of The Up All Nights asserts, “There’s nowhere to be but Kobo on St. Patty’s and The Up All Nights are involved, so all bets are off.”
Here is a NSFW video, made by Nathan Photos of local band The Town Monster, to put you in the mood for the debauchery of tomorrow.
