Starting today, travelers flying out of Port Columbus can choose whether they want to pass through airport security in an expert, casual or family lane.
“The business travelers are very happy with it, and it allows families to take the time to divest their kids without feeling rushed by someone tapping their foot and checking a watch behind them,” Said Dwayne Baird, a spokesman for the Transportation Security Administration.
Port Columbus is the 33rd hub in the U.S. to segregate travelers by skill level. The effort, being tested at security checkpoint B, one of three at the airport, is half convenience and half security measure.
