Popular Burger Joint Setting Up Downtown

Preston’s: A Burger Joint is opening its flagship location Downtown. After residencies at bar kitchens and a rolling food truck, Preston’s is making it permanent at 15 W. Cherry St.

The burger joint has a new restaurant group behind it, Muse Hospitality, which includes Chefs and Creators Matt Heaggans and Catie Randazzo, along with restaurant developer Reed Woogerd and Bake Me Happy’s Letha Pugh.

Preston’s is known for its burgers, but also serves up a chicken sandwich, appetizers and more across the menus of its three current locations. Preston’s operates its food truck, regularly appearing at the Columbus Commons and Seventh Son, and has set up shop at Woodland’s Backyard and Woodland’s Tavern.

The new Downtown location, slated to open in spring 2020, is just the beginning for Preston’s.

“Our plan is to expand Preston’s into some of the other Columbus neighborhoods that we love,” said Woogerd in a press release. “After a city-wide expansion, we may venture into Cleveland and Cincinnati. We want Preston’s to be Ohio’s burger.”

Heaggans and Randazzo’s other restaurant, Ambrose & Eve, will also move under the Muse Hospitality umbrella.
