Pigskin Brewing Company Opens in Gahanna

Pigskin Brewing Company has opened their brewery and taproom at Creekside Plaza in Gahanna. Located at 81 Mill Street, the football-themed brewery has dubbed this opening their ‘Preseason,’ where guest taps (both local and non-local) will be flowing freely. They’re not serving their home-brewed beers just yet, but plan to have an official grand opening in mid- to late March, once their home drafts are fully fermented and ready to go. The ‘Victory in Every Sip’ starting lineup listed on their website includes Undefeated IPA, Laces Out Hefeweizen, Kickoff Brown Ale, Legendary Amber, Gose All The Way, and PorterBack. They plan on serving six to eight different beers in total.

Plans for Pigskin started back in June 2013, founded by CEO Tarry Summers. The 3,200 square foot interior seats 80, as does the sizable patio. If you’re not a beer person, they have a liquor license and a small selection of liquors. As for food, the Pigskin kitchen has teamed up with nearby restaurant Ciao Vino for a ‘Beer Bites’ menu of soft pretzels, candied bacon, burgers, tater tots, sandwiches, pizza and more.

    Pigskin Brewing Company will be open 3 p.m. – midnight Monday through Thursday, 3 p.m. – 2 a.m. Fridays, 11 a.m. – 2 a.m. Saturdays, and noon – midnight on Sundays.
