Summer’s here! And for Columbus that means thunderstorms and outdoor concerts, and on Monday we got both as The National and Courtney Barnett packed out a very soggy Express Live!

Thankfully, the rain just about cleared before Courtney Barnett opened the show. The Australian singer-songwriter packed her captivating set with sharp lyrics, garage guitar rock and the occasional beaming smile.
Ohio natives The National closed out the evening with two hours of emotionally charged slow-rock, including a few picks from the recently released I Am Easy to Find.
