Canada’s finest five-piece rock-and-rollers, The Glorious Sons popped by the Newport Music Hall on Friday evening for a night of sing-along alt-rock.
Thanks to a string of solid singles often heard on CD102.5, the Sons, consisting of Brett and Jay Emmons, Chris Koster, Adam Paquette and Chris Huot, just about sold out the Newport as backwards baseball hat wearing twenty-somethings yelled along to southern influenced hits, “Mama,” “S.O.S” and the brilliant “Everything is Alright.”
The Glorious Sons third long play, A War on Everything is out now.
