Legendary punk-metal power-chord rockers L7 played a surprisingly undersold Express Live! on Wednesday night for the first time since their reformation. The once trailblazing all-female four-piece knocked out cuts from their long history to a slightly well aged, yet enthusiastic audience.
Reunited since 2014 after a long hiatus, long time members Suzi Gardner, Donita Sparks, Jennifer Finch and Demetra Plakas are currently touring their new album, Scatter the Rats, the band’s first in 20 years.
Mexican garage punk band, Le Butcherettes opened up the show.
