Photos: KISS at Nationwide Arena
Classic rock legends KISS brought their face-paint and over-the-top live show to town on Saturday night. Pyrotechnics, loud guitars and lots of tongue entertained a packed out Nationwide Arena.
Currently out for probably their last-ever final tour, the current KISS quartet of Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer pulled out all the stops, bringing the slightly vintage crowd a hefty chunk of high energy, nostalgic rock-and-roll spanning all of KISS’ impressive 45ish years as a band.
While the performance was at times cliché and loaded with rock-star poses, no one could say a KISS show isn’t a highly enjoyable spectacle, and even if this is the final tour, it’s clear that the band still love what they do, and they’re still doing it well after all this time.
