A group of locals organized a protest effort today to rally against the immigration ban proposed by the Trump administration, and hundreds of supporters turned out to show their support. The event was originally slated to be held in a surface parking lot outside of the airport terminal, but photos show that the crowds marched to the airport arrival/departure areas and moved the rally inside the building as well.

“Columbus protest now staging a sit-in inside the terminal at John Glenn International Airport,” posted local advocate group SURJ Columbus on Twitter at 3:06pm. The event is slated to continue to 4pm, but could end up running longer.
