A second half, sucker punch goal from Seattle Sounders brought more misery onto Columbus Crew SC, as they suffered another loss. The game finished 1-2 at a rainy MAPFRE Stadium on Saturday evening.

Pedro Santos gave the home fans something to celebrate early in the first half, when he converted the penalty kick he’d just won after being clipped inside the Seattle box.

Nicolas Lodeiro equalized for the visitors with a penalty of their own. With chances few and far between, it looked like the game was going to end at 1-1.

Sadly, for Crew fans at least, Lodeiro popped up in the dying moments of the game to head home the ball and inflict four straight defeats on Crew SC.

Next up is an away day trip to Orlando, next Saturday evening.
