Thousands of angry, upset and frustrated Columbus citizens took to the streets of Downtown Columbus to protest the election of President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday night. The crowds descended upon the sidewalks outside the Ohio Statehouse chanting and waving signs that read “Love Trumps Hate”, “Hate Never Made Us Great” and “Dump Trump” among others.
“The Facebook event showed 3,200 people interested and 1,400 people as going,” said photographer Matt Ellis of the event. “I would say that was pretty accurate estimate of the people that turned up.”
