“Bowling for Soup is still a band?!” reads the front of the bass drum. And, yeah, they are — despite more than 20 years of touring, 10 studio albums, and a whole lot of booze — still an active, albeit slightly rugged looking, band that can still put on a highly enjoyable show.
And a highly enjoyable show it was from the veteran four-piece. Currently touring on the last ever Warped Tour, the punkers used a day off to bring their three-minute sing-a-long pop-punk hits to a sold-out and very packed Skully’s Music Diner on Tuesday evening.
Support for the evening came from fellow Warped Tour traveller, rapper Kosha Dillz, and Dayton, Ohio party-rock six-piece, The Nightbeast.
