The Summer Ever After tour stopped by Columbus on Thursday evening for an indoor show at Express Live!

Dashboard Confessional were up first with a set filled with plenty of straight-from-the-heart songs about love and other such miseries, all backed by upbeat guitars, the melancholic vocals of Chris Carrabba, and a room packed full of joyful young’uns singing along to every saccharine-soaked lyric.

Baltimore pop-rockers All Time Low strode onto the stage around 9:45 p.m. and quickly jumped into back-to-back jump-along emo-punk gems as Alex Gaskarth, Jack Barakat and company bounced around the stage and kept the already frenzied crowd in a state of permanent smiley happiness.

Singer-songwriter Gnash opened the show, although I unfortunately arrived too late to photograph him.
