A small-but-prominent corner of Parsons Avenue has seen a newly completed renovation with tonight’s grand opening of “The Eisen”. The renovation was a collaborative project between multiple development groups including Midwest Atlantic Group, Solutions for Real Estate and NAI Ohio Equities, originally announced last year by partner Mark Longstreth.
“I think Parsons is the natural commercial corridor for the South Side… there are a lot of old, nice commercial buildings that are built up to the street,” said Longstreth last year. “It has that feel of an urban, walkable corridor.”
The renovated buildings include four ground-floor retail tenants — Sacred Hand Tattoo Society, Evans Deventer, Metro PCS and Movements of Qi — with a fifth retail space available in the former Whitt’s End Saloon location. Upstairs, the building features newly renovated apartments.
The Eisen is hosting a grand opening open house event today from 4:30pm to 7pm, featuring tours of the apartments and commercial space.
