Midwest Photo officially announced yesterday that they will be vacating their storefront at 3313 North High Street in Clintonville for a larger space located approximately a mile away. Once renovations are complete, 2887 Silver Drive — located near the intersection of Weber Road and I-71 — will become their new home.
“We were lucky to find such a great space so close to our current store,” said Midwest Photo President Moishe Appelbaum. “Our goal was to limit the impact that relocation could have on our customers. Our new location and enhanced operational abilities will help us continue to grow and progress to match the pace of our customer’s needs.”
In addition to the larger retail space that will measure three times the size of the current location, the new store will host a larger learning studio where Midwest can host more classes, dark room rentals, and printing services.
The building at 2887 Silver Drive was most recently home to Skreened, which began downsizing staff and outsourcing printing operations last year. Midwest Photo plans to be relocated sometime in early-to-mid-July.
