If you thought the bacon craze was going to fizzle out, Ohio Bacon Fest comes back this summer to prove you wrong. The third annual family-friendly fest will fill up the Columbus Commons on Friday, September 8.
“Downtown Columbus is growing, more people are moving to the area, and we hope to envelop their excitement for our third annual event,” said founder Mike Gallicchio in a press release. “The Columbus Commons is the perfect venue to capture the energy of our city…we are expecting over 10,000 in attendance plus more vendors than ever!”
Ohio Bacon Fest is the result of a collaboration between MikeGallicchioNow, co-organizer for the Columbus Food Truck Festival, and Prime Social Group, creators of Breakaway Music Festival. Originating in 2015, it combines the food and music scene, bringing together food and beverage vendors as well as live entertainment.
Ohio Bacon Fest will run from 5 to 10:30 p.m. on September 8. General admission and VIP tickets are available now, starting at $5. Children 6 years old and younger get in free.
