OH Pizza & Brew Finds a New Downtown Location

Downtown’s OH Pizza & Brew is getting a new address. Located currently at 250 S. Third St., it’ll soon be slightly further south at the corner of Broad and South Third Streets. Taking over the old Stack’d spot and the adjacent retail space, OH Pizza & Brew will introduce an expanded menu and a line of merchandise as soon as Monday, Oct. 22.

OH Pizza & Brew first opened up at their present location in 2014, offering delivery and carryout pizza, subs, wings and salads. Owner Luke Edwards started looking for a new home for the pizzeria after his landlord wanted to move his lease to a month-to-month contract. This was after having difficulty making improvements to the building — signage permits were at a standstill, and “no one seemed to want to make anything go, so we started looking,” says Edwards.

After hearing of the closure of Stack’d, he reached out to the owner there, Ryan Bryson, to work out a deal that would get them out and get OH Pizza & Brew on the lease.

“It’s taken four and a half years at the one location, and in one month we have a sign up at this location,” Edwards says.

While they renovate the new space to fit the OH Pizza & Brew aesthetic, it’ll open as carryout- and delivery-only. The restaurant will close at its current location after this weekend and reopen at 88 E. Broad St. on Monday. Once the interior is finished — which includes fitting in custom made furniture, new lighting, and a paint job — Edwards plans on opening the restaurant for dine-in guests.

At their new digs, the restaurant will begin serving pastas, and a mac and cheese pizza, dubbed the Mac Daddy, will be added to the menu. OH Pizza & Brew employee Ashley Owens, who’s also a pastry chef, will roll out a dessert menu of house made cakes and cupcakes.

Edwards also hopes to open a retail space inside the restaurant, which would stock OH Pizza & Brew gear like t-shirts, hats, and home made bottled sauces.

OH Pizza & Brew is also close to opening a third location in Galloway. They have another location in Worthington.
