NRI Proposes Brew Pub, Office Building and Parking Garage for Grandview Yard
NRI has submitted documents to the Grandview Heights Planning Commission for the latest expansion of their Grandview Yard project. The new buildings would sit between Yard Street and the railroad tracks, with the restaurant fronting Goodale Boulevard. An L-shaped parcel at the corner of Goodale and Yard would be left for a future phase of the development.
The proposed office building is 78,000 square feet and three stories, while the parking structure will be two levels and have room for 505 cars. Plans call for the restaurant to have its own 18,000 square foot, two-story building. Hofbrauhaus, a Munich-based beer hall and restaurant with multiple US locations, is the intended tenant and has also submitted plans to the commission for review.
Tina Guegold of NRI said that they are not able to provide any more details on the latest phase of the project until after the December 18th planning commission meeting.
In other Grandview Yard news, construction has begun on three new four-story apartment buildings on Yard Street north of the existing apartments, and construction has also begun on the new Giant Eagle located on the north end of the site.
