I’m not sure if anyone who doesn’t work at Easton had heard the whispers about a Northstar Café opening in the former Smith & Hawken location, but a sign on the window there confirms it. I haven’t heard anything about the timeframe, but this is exciting news for anyone who finds themselves at Easton for a good portion of their lives (I’m a bookseller at Barnes & Noble). At last, there will be another (if not necessarily less expensive) healthy option to combat Panda Express, Sbarro and Max & Erma’s. I work next door, so I’m probably going to go bankrupt if I’m not careful.
