North Market Names Rick Harrison Wolfe as New Executive Director
The North Market Development Authority announced today that Rick Harrison Wolfe has been selected as the new Executive Director of the market. Wolfe is replacing former director David Wible who retired in January after 12 years in the position.
“We are excited to have Rick join the North Market team,” said Board President, Matthew Hall. “This is an important time for the Market as we focus on building the vision for the future and Rick’s experience, passion, creativity and energy will be key to our ongoing success.”
A native of Grandview Heights, Wolfe has two decades of retail, branding and management experience with companies including Skechers and Cole Haan. He also has entrepreneurial experience that includes the establishment of his own business development consulting company, as well as the launch of The Cheesy Truck, a gourmet mobile food truck business that he sold last year after a year of successful operation.
“I am beyond honored and ecstatic to have been selected to lead this 137 year old Columbus institution into the future,” said Wolfe. “The North Market continues to thrive because of its passionate group of merchants, staff, directors and the great support of our community. Cheers to a bright future!”
