Pecha Kucha Encourages You To Listen, Be Inspired, And Share Ideas With Others
Columbus Pecha Kucha Night will hold its ninth event on May 21 from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. at Landmark’s Gateway Theater.
Presenters for the event include political consultant Wendy Ake; musician Beth Curry; Wild Goose Creative representative Nicholas Dekker; illustrator and photographer Melissa Francis; artist and teacher Fritz Kappler; photographer Rick Merrick; jewelry designer Amy Neiwirth; pricing analyst Eric Ralph; and architect Ivan Vukcevich.
The suggested donation for attendees is two dollars. Landmark’s Gateway Theater is located at 1550 North High Street near The Ohio State University campus.
“There are so many interesting people in Columbus who have something to say,” said Lindsay Kenzig, one of the founders of Pecha Kucha Columbus. “Every event we have unites more people and generates more momentum.”
Nearly 300 people are expected to attend the May 21 event.

Pecha Kucha was founded by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham in 2003. It was intended to be a place for Tokyo designers to meet, network, and show their work in public.
