New Indian Restaurant Curry Up Opens This Weekend
New Indian restaurant Curry Up is ready to officially open its doors after spending the better part of the summer with building out its debut space on Sawmill Road. Owner Vishal Patel told Columbus Underground last month that the new restaurant will be approachable for all palates, as he hopes to redefine and reimagine what Indian cuisine can mean for local diners.
“The best way I’d like to describe it is we’re more a modern take on Indian cuisine,” Patel stated. “All the ingredients that we use are found in Indian cuisine; they just haven’t been put together in this way.”
Curry Up will open to the public this Friday, October 14th. Initial hours of operation will be Monday through Thursday from 11 am to 9:30 pm, Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 10:30 pm, and Sundays from 11 am – 9 pm.
