Last September, a six-story development proposal for 230 E. Long Street was presented at a Downtown Commission Meeting by Denver-based Charles Street Investment Partners. That proposal will go in front of the Commission again next week with a new plan for a slightly taller building, and an updated look from architectural firm NBBJ.

The newest version of the plan calls for eight stories of mixed-use apartment development with ground-floor retail and structured parking. The project is slated to replace a large surface parking lot, bounded by Long Street, Fifth Street, Neilston Street and Lafayette Street.

The original plan from September called for 234 residential units in the building, but the new submission does not include a revised number of units to reflect the increase in total height from six stories to eight stories.

Stay tuned to CU for more updates on this project.
